Description
The variety of rice called Basmati is famous for its fragrance, not surprisingly its name in Hindi means “Queen of perfumes”. It has a delicate taste and long and thin grains that stretch further during cooking. It is cultivated mainly in India where its consumption has traditionally been rooted for hundreds of years. Excellent if accompanied by spicy and tasty vegetable and meat dishes, ideal to be consumed both hot and cold.
