Valmetauro mixed caciotta with chilli pepper is a fresh cheese with a creamy texture, with light holes and medium maturation, obtained with 100% Italian bovine and sheep milk. A cheese that in ancient times was prepared exclusively in the winter months and that is linked to the traditions of peasant butchery, in which it was prepared with sweet chillies.

The flavored caciottas are excellent table cheeses and are often tasted when cut with a good slice of homemade bread or the typical “crescia” of Marche. They are used to flavor fresh salads and to season baked pasta dishes. They are accompanied by rich, but delicate, white wines.
